Culture crawl

Oh man!
So tired still!

I did the Culture Crawl (had my work in it) and I'm so exhausted! But happy.

I met what feels like ten thousand people, and now it's time to ready myself for Northern Ontario.

Culture Crawl!

Want to come see me at the East Side Culture Crawl?
I will be at 242 Princess Ave!

I am there with Brutally Beautiful!

I have a few fun things there that I have made (Knit/woven... etc)
I will also be spinning silk all weekend to go alongside a set of sculptures I have just completed.

They are Handspun silk that have either been knit or crochet into hanging vessels. They were then soaked in blood, dipped in wax, and then had crystals put in their centers.

Please come hang out! I would love to see you!

A contrario

Silk dyed with cochineal and logwood.
This is the best thing to have happened in a long time.

Lumen naturale

All of the red things...
I just got a hold of more lac and cochineal and madder. This weekend I want to dye silk. I have a mad amount of silk at home right now.

silk, silk, silk.

Also... I was looking into knitting looms, because I have been desiring to get back into weaving. But I think I am more than capable of making one myself. For real. Lets see how this one goes.
(And since I have a wool addiction, this will help me use it faster and with more intensity.)

So engrossed in knitting, I don't see cars explode.
