We are off to the woods, and off to camp and canoe.
I need to figure out what yarns to bring!
Should I knit? Should I crochet!?

Camping

The darling one took me camping this past weekend.

He got us sleeping bags for my nameday. (Game of Thrones reference...! I'm a nerd!)

The darling one and I went camping last night!!
We went to Cat Lake outside of Squamish, BC. We go motorcycle camping... which is pretty minimalist.  Pretty much just bring a small tent, sleep stuff, ketchup, veggie dogs.. and thats it!

Out into the woods!

The darling one and I are going adventure-dating in the woods tonight. Ya camping!!!

This week I need to finish a knit bolero for a friend's wedding, and a shawl for another friend's wedding the week after. So many weddings!

Also... I just got two braids of fibre from Woolgatherings (www.woolgatheringsfibres.com) Of the fine alpaca... these are going to be spun into something, and then knit into a shawl for my Mother-in-law. She is such a great person. AND- she loves everything I knit for her! !!

I got back from a night of camping on Tuesday night.

Going to the Okanagan

I'm going to visit my mom in Oyama.
Then we're going camping.
Bringing my spinning wheel with me.

This is a good idea right?
