Blue! It's Alchemy!

BLUE!
One of my jars of homemade copper mordant has turned blue!
This means two things:
1. Today I will be hanging out around the dye pot!
2. I'm an alchemist!

Magical days!

Solar dye party!

I'm solar dyeing with iron mordant and random dyestuff.

I love that spring is here.

Three things.

There are three things that I should be doing.

1. I have 10 skeins of fingering weight wool that are pre-mordanted... and ready to be dyed. (They have 880m on each one... they're HUGE!)

2. My beautiful floor loom is calling to me. It is warped to make scarves right now.

3. I have 1000g. of grey Icelandic roving to spin. I think it will be a cardigan for my darling one.

... and it is SO sunny today.
What to do?
