Wool Wax Silk and Bones.
I often go into dark woods, and go far to see brilliant things. I am surrounded by wonderful people, and am lucky to have found a familiar in an old black cat.
Hello Kelly, It is dyed naturally on the stovetop. It was first done with the Arbutus bark, and the color wasn't what I was looking for yet, so I overdyed it with a mix of hibiscus, blackberries, and cochineal. I didn't allow for the new dyes to strike all of the fibres, hence the variation of color.
Ooh, the new pattern looks great! Love that colour, too.
ReplyDeleteWhat do I think? I think you are one of my favorite designers and this pattern is already in my queue. Love it!
ReplyDeleteIts stunning! Thank you for offering it for no charge. Wow! Generous. How is it dyed? The colour is so elegant.
